CASH CROPS

In addition to growing enough feed to meet the herd's needs, we grow and sell hay, soybeans, and corn.  We also purchase and bale straw from nearby farms for our own use, as well as for re-sale.


WILD GAME BUTCHER BUSINESS

We've provided on-site seasonal (fall) wild game butchering services to local hunters since 2005 and have enjoyed an excellent reputation as one of the most sought after wild game butchers in the Ottawa Valley. This business and its assets are also available for sale.

There's a dirt road between the main property consisting of  328 acres and 89 acres, providing a natural severance.  It may also be possible to sever down the lot line on the main property, maintaining 194 acres (all tillable) with the farm, freeing up the remaining 136 acres in that parcel to sell*.


*A word to the wise, once farmland in this area is sold, it's rarely, if ever, recoverable.
